Every Aaronsen engagement entails a combination of applied skills and competencies. Each client is different, and no single solution or set of procedures can be applied wholesale to all of the problems our clients are likely to encounter. While we provide standard services to deal with common problems cost-effectively, we also have the expertise to solve uncommon problems and provide custom solutions according to what is required.

Technology Auditing

During our technology auditing process, we evaluate the extent and effectiveness of your current technology base to help you determine how well it is supporting your corporate mission. We study alternative uses and reorganizations of your existing technology infrastructure that may better benefit your business. We emphasize leveraging your current technological assets whenever possible to keep costs to a minimum.

Many companies have a significant installed base of obsolete hardware. Sometimes, these machines will not support a successful new technology strategy. If we determine that your existing technology is inadequate to support your current and future needs, we can suggest cost effective solutions with an emphasis on forward compatability and future scalability.

 
Strategy Planning

Companies with little or no previous experience with technology development do not have the resources necessary to come up with an effective technology strategy or to implement a selected strategy. They may have unrealistically high or low expectations of what networking and social media technologies can do for their business or of the costs involved in bringing technology to bear. Aaronsen has both the technological and business skills required to create an effective and realistic technology strategy which fits your business needs and budget.

Technology is a perennial journalistic favorite. Most technology press takes the form of either a sound bite which conveys no useful information except to elicit a "must buy" impulse, or technical documents which are impossible for most people to understand or evaluate effectively. Implementation

After all evaluation and planning has been done, Aaronsen stays with the client to implement the new strategy or oversee the internal resources to help the client fashion their own implementation. From overseeing hardware purchase and configuration to managing software development teams to writing and distributing policy documents, to coordinating training on new business processes, Aaronsen will remain deeply involved in the process as long as necessary.

While there are those plans that are implemented nearly flawlessly, most encounter unforeseen challenged. Swift and drastic changes in markets and technology, sudden changes in corporate management structure or desires, budget shortfalls and other disasters can all contribute adversely to the implementation of a technology strategy. An Aaronsen consultant is -- first and foremost -- an expert in the joys and horrors of unanticipated change. Crisis Management

As well as dealing with long-term planning and implementation, Aaronsen can help solve a company's short-term or emergency problems. Even companies who have all the resources necessary to maintain an effective technology strategy may find it difficult to make forward progress when the need is greatest, or to deal with major crises when they arise. It is not cost effective for a company to hire extra manpower which will be underutilized most of the time, on the off-chance that a similar crisis might happen again. Aaronsen provides crucial short- and medium-term organizational and technical resources to resolve crisis situations as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

 
Knowledge Transfer

Aaronsen is committed to knowledge transfer. When we provide a solution for a company, we take every step to ensure that the company has the resources necessary to follow through with a solution's implementation and maintenance.
